Gigabyte has revealed two brand new AMD A620 motherboards including the first-ever A620 Mini-ITX design for SFF PCs.
Gigabyte Is The First Manufacturer To Offer AMD's A620 Chipset In An Mini-ITX Form Factor
The AMD A620 chipset is an entry-level option for AMD's AM5 socket and is suitable for those on a budget. However, the A620 motherboards generally come with limited overclocking options and no support for PCIe Gen 5, so it costs much less compared to the B650 or the X670 options. The A620 motherboard from Gigabyte comes in a usual black & grey color scheme, and we shouldn't expect anything fancy considering it is a low-tier A620 motherboard.
The Gigabyte UD A620I-AX will feature two DDR5-compatible DIMM slots with support for up to 64 GB Binary and 96 GB Non-Binary capacities. It comes with one PCIe Gen4 x16 interface along with 2 SATA ports. There is also an M.2 NVMe slot with a reasonably big heatsink for thermal dissipation. It has an integrated WiFi-AX and Ethernet connection. The 8+1+1 VRMs are covered by a heatsink and the CPU socket is powered by a single 8-pin connector.
The Gigabyte UD A620I-AX Mini ITX motherboard includes all the necessary connections that one would expect with an ITX motherboard. Details regarding onboard USB support are yet unknown but we can spot up to six ports including one USB Type-C on the I/O panel. There's also WIFI, a 3-channel Audio-Jack, the necessary HDMI and DP outputs, and what seems to be a CMOS flashback button. There's also a front-panel USB 3.2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 header.

The pricing for Gigabyte UD A620I-AX is not certain yet, however, it will be similar to other A620 options from Gigabyte, which currently range around $100. Gigabyte is expected to provide more details soon. In addition to this, Gigabyte is also offering its new A620M DS3H which features a 5-Phase CPU power delivery and comes with very basic specifications. Both of these boards will be targeting pricing close to the $100 US range as stated above.
