AMD is preparing two brand new professional graphics cards based on its RDNA 3 architecture, the Radeon Pro W7600 & W7500.
AMD Targets Entry-Level Professionals With Radeon Pro W7600 & W7500 8 GB Graphics Cards
So far, AMD is serving the top echelon of professionals with its Radeon Pro W7900 & W7800 RDNA 3 GPU offerings but that is going to change soon. Leaked by Videocardz, we have our first look at the Radeon Pro W7600 & W7500 graphics cards which are going to target entry-level professionals with the same RDNA 3 goodness.
Both the AMD Radeon Pro W7600 and Radeon Pro W7500 graphics cards are based on the Navi 33 GPU SKU. The W7600 carries 32 compute units or 2048 stream processors which will offer up to 20 TFLOPs of compute performance while the Radeon Pro W7500 features 28 Compute Units or 1792 stream processors with up to 12 TFLOps of compute. The Radeon Pro W7600 was also leaked out a few days ago with a few tests posted here.
The entry-level Radeon Pro graphics cards are also equipped with the same 8 GB GDDR6 memory with ECC support across a 128-bit wide bus interface. While the AMD Radeon Pro W7600 retains the same memory capacities as its predecessor, the W7500 gets a nice upgrade over the AMD Pro W6400/W6500M which featured 4 GB memory across a 64-bit wide bus interface. It is likely that a mid-tier solution such as the Radeon Pro W7700 could feature anywhere from 12 to 16 GB VRAM. The Radeon Pro W7600 offers 18 Gbps pin speeds for up to 288 GB/s bandwidth while the WX7500 cuts down the speeds considerably down to 11 Gbps for 176 GB/s bandwidth.

As for other specifications, both the AMD Radeon Pro W7600 and W7500 come in a single-slot design with a blower-style cooler. The cards feature four DisplayPort 2.1 connectors & while the Radeon Pro WX7600 requires a single 6-pin connector to feed its 130W TBP, the WX7500 will be powered directly from its PCIe slot thanks to a 70W TBP. The cards also feature a slightly different black and silver colored shroud.
AMD Radeon Pro WX7600 & WX7500 Performance (Image Credits: Videocardz):
In performance comparisons, the Radeon Pro W7600 is compared to the NVIDIA A2000, offering 56% higher performance in real-time ray tracing and 27% higher performance in Autodesk while the Radeon Pro WX 7500 is compared to the NVIDIA T1000.
AMD has usually been very aggressive with its mainstream Pro GPU pricing against NVIDIA's Pro offerings and we can expect the same from these two solutions. The AMD Radeon Pro W7600 & Radeon Pro W7500 are expected to be unveiled at SIGGRAPH 2023 in the coming week so expect more information. Prices are suggested at $599 US for the WX7600 and $429 US for the WX7500.
