Blizzard has released preliminary Diablo 4 patch 1.1.2 notes with the patch expected to be released next week.
Some days ago, ahead of the release of patch 1.1.1, an encrypted developer build of patch 1.1.2 was spotted on Blizzard's servers. Yesterday, Blizzard's Global Community Director Adam Fletcher confirmed that this new patch will be released "soon", and we already suggested that this might be sometime next week.
Taking to Twitter yesterday, the community director has now said that the 1.1.2 patch is indeed expected to be rolled out next week. He added that this new update will focus on fixing bugs. "Tomorrow we will have a preview of the 1.1.2 patch notes for Diablo IV to share", Fletcher wrote on Twitter overnight. "Mostly some bug fixes but we expect this patch next week."
As promised, Blizzard has now shared the release notes for next week's patch. Going by the patch notes, the 1.1.2 patch indeed focuses on bug fixes for dungeons, events, druids, quests, the user interface, and more. In addition, this patch will automatically put players in the Trade channel by default. In order to opt out of the channel, players can navigate to the in-game settings. As with most post-launch patches, this upcoming new update will also further improve the game's performance and stability. Be sure to read the full notes for the update through the link above.
Interestingly, although patch 1.1.1 was just released and patch 1.1.2 won't be out before next week, Fletcher has also confirmed that the team is working on patch 1.1.3, which is expected to be out in a "few weeks" from now.
