The Expanse: A Telltale Series is a new episodic adventure series from a reformed version of Telltale Games and Deck Nine (the team behind Life is Strange: Before the Storm and True Colors). Like the Telltale series of old this one largely focuses on story, player choice, and quick-time action scenes, but it also features an array of collectibles and even sidequests. Most of the collectibles can be found if you just take some time to search all the areas the main story forces you to pass through, but sidequests may require you to dig a little deeper or venture off the beaten path.
One of the sidequests in The Expanse: Episode 2 tasks you with finding “medicine” for Arlen, who’s strung out on “pixie dust.” Finding the medicine isn’t too hard, but it’s very easy to overlook, so here’s how to make sure you don’t miss it…
- Step 1 – The medicine can be found in the ship graveyard, fairly nearby the central area where you have to blow open the blast doors. Exit this area into open space and look for a piece of charred spaceship wreckage with a green blinking beacon on it. Nearby there should be a blue and red shipping container and a lighter-colored piece or wreckage. That lighter-colored wreckage is what we’re looking for.
- Step 2 – Land on that lighter-colored wreckage and interact with the hatch/crate shown above. Inside you’ll find the medicine. Give it to Arlen later in the episode.
So, what does completing this side quest get you? You’ll alter your relationship with Arlen and his brother, which could have long-lasting effects in future episodes. You’ll also unlock the “Drug Gifter” achievement/trophy.
