A reputable Nintendo leaker has suggested that Nintendo is planning to air another Nintendo Direct "soon-ish".
This information comes from known Nintendo leaker 'NateTheHate', who has proven to be quite accurate when it comes to leaking Nintendo-related announcements. The leaker has proven to be spot-on with his information about N64 and Game Boy games coming to Switch Online. In addition, the leaker was spot on with information about a Nintendo Direct back in June of this year.
As most of you will know, Nintendo aired a Mario Direct focusing on the upcoming Super Mario Wonder on August 31st. In addition, Nintendo officially unveiled the Switch OLED Mario Red Edition during the broadcast. This broadcast, however, was relatively short, and going by Nintendo's track record of airing a Direct in September (the company has been doing this for years with the exception of 2015), fans have been wondering whether Nintendo will air another Direct. According to 'NateTheDate', having one Direct doesn't rule out the possibility of Nintendo doing another broadcast. In addition, when asked about a date and time, the leaker said "soon-ish". This suggests that Nintendo is planning to air yet another broadcast this month.

Although no further details about this rumored Direct have been shared, some are suggesting that this Direct is to air on September 13th - which is next week, and indeed pretty soon.
We can only hope that 'NateTheHate' is right on the money once again. If true, what do you expect from Nintendo? Will the company finally reveal more about the rumored Switch 2? And what about the upcoming Metroid Prime 4, which has been in development for way too long? Although it would be interesting to get more information about the rumored Metroid Prime 2 and 3 Remasters, we're pretty sure that Nintendo fans will be even happier with news about the long-overdue Twilight Princess and Wind Waker Switch ports.
