ASUS's 'Evangelion" lineup has gained immense traction since its official announcement, and now the highly-anticipated ASUS ROG GeForce RTX 4090 Evangelion edition has been listed by a Chinese retailer with a really large price tag.

For those unaware, the "Evangelion" lineup is ASUS's way of dealing with anime fans & revolves around the iconic Neon Genesis Evangelion anime series. The new lineup targets Eva Unit-02, which features an orange and red color scheme. ASUS has specifically intended to promote the new Evangelion lineup in Asian markets since the company has gained most of the sales traction around anime products through Asian consumers.
The ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 4090 OC EVA-02 Edition isn't listed by any retailers outside of APAC regions yet. Fortunately, JD.com, the Chinese retailer has listed the GPU for 17,999 RMB/ USD 2475, showing that the card is indeed set to be released for retail. However, it does come with a hefty price tag, with almost an increase of $900 from the GPU's original MSRP. It is indeed a gigantic increase, however, such products do come with a cost tradeoff; hence, you will need to break your bank in order to get one.
The ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 4090 OC Evangelion edition brings a lot to the table, especially with its unique aesthetical features, which complement the product to a much greater extent. With its distinctive combination of red and orange color scheme and "anime" branding at different parts of the GPU chassis, the GeForce RTX 4090 OC Evangelion offers a consumer the opportunity to acquire a "collector's item."
ASUS hasn't confirmed global availability at the moment, but we expect it to be available, given that regional launches aren't a thing for the company. However, you should be aware of two things before getting this masterpiece: first, not worrying about the price tag, and second, snag one right away since availability would be limited.
