EK has brought in waterblock support for NVIDIA's RTX 6000 Ada GPUs in its EK Fluid systems, enabling up to 7-way GPU solutions.
EK Fluid Systems Will Now Harness the Power of NVIDIA's RTX 6000 ADA Workstation GPUs, Featuring Custom Waterblock For Up To 7-Way Horse-Power
For those unaware, EK Fluid workstations have recently gained traction in the industry, primarily due to the rapid development in the AI industry. These systems bring in high computational performance on board, without worrying about temperatures at any time since the EK Fluid systems are equipped with an extensive water-cooling network, which provides adequate thermal dissipation. It is important to note that a one time, these systems are capable of equipping seven or more workstation GPUs, signifying the capabilities EK Fluid systems come with.
However, this time EK has gone one step ahead, offering NVIDIA's highest-end workstation GPU support on its systems. The company has released its custom EK-Pro GPU WB for RTX 6000 ADA, which maintains the same design language as other entrants in its data center portfolio. The new water block supports all EK Fluid systems, including the top-of-the-line X7000-RM server.
According to the figures shared by the company, EK-Pro GPU WB for NVIDIA's RTX 6000 ADA comes with decent cooling performance, with a component temperature drop at 25°C recorded, which shows what EK-Pro GPU WB brings in terms of cooling abilities. This is crucial for the development of the data center industry since it is too prone to high temperatures due to the fact that the EK Fluid comes with a massive number of components enclosed in a single chamber.
EK hasn't disclosed a specific pricing of the water block yet, since it is intended to feature in a package that the company sells with its workstation systems. At the lowest, one can snag the FW S3000 workstation starting at $5,180, but these systems are intended for professional use only, hence an average consumer should remain out of this domain.
