A new Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart patch is now live for the recently released PC version of the game, introducing a variety of improvements and fixes that improve the experience of the first entry in the series by Insomniac to get released on PC.
Patch v1.922.0.0 introduces several improvements, such as some performance improvements via some unspecified frame rate fixes, fixed ray-traced shadows on certain enemies and objects, improved Rift transitions in the Speetle Course challenge, and more.
The new Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart PC patch also fixes some ghosting issues that were visible in the menus with AMD FSR 2.2 on, as well as artifacts that were visible with ray-traced shadows on certain surfaces. Rounding up the patch notes, which can be found here, are improvements to controller support and a few other fixes.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is now available on PC and PlayStation 5 worldwide. You can learn more about the latest entry in the series by reading Chris' review.
Through outstanding storytelling, exquisite visuals, and gripping gameplay, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart proves to be an engaging, fun, funny, and thoroughly enjoyable return to the series. It also offers the introduction to two brand new characters that could arguably be the protagonists of their own spin-off, or at least return to future entries in the series. For fans and new players alike, this is a game I would recommend for everybody and a true showing of the sort of titles we should expect for the new generation.
