What was previously known as the Core Ultra 7 1002H is now officially the Core Ultra 7 165H. The new naming convention is quite confusing but we have it all distilled down for you in our coverage here. What you should know is that the 1002H was the "ES" naming while the 165H is the official & final naming.
Diving into specifications, the Intel Core Ultra 7 165H CPU features a 16-core and 22-thread count. The cores are distributed into respective Redwood Cove P-Cores and Crestmon E-Cores. The CPU Tile in fact features 6 P-Cores and 8 E-Cores with the remaining 2 E-Cores featured on the SOC tile and are useful for low-power workloads. The chip has 24 MB of L3 cache, a base clock of 3.8 GHz & a boost clock of 5.0 GHz. It should have a TDP range between 15 and 28W.
Speaking of performance, the Intel Core Ultra 7 165H CPU is by far the fastest chip when it comes to both single & multi-core performance since it potentially surpasses the likes of Core i9-13900H. The Core Ultra 9 CPUs with over 5 GHz boost clocks should deliver even better performance and it should be pointed out that this is once again preliminary performance. There are still several months before these chips are sent out to retail so we can expect more performance optimizations by then.

Intel's Meteor Lake lineup did garner immense interest, especially after Intel's Innovation, but the fact that Intel didn't reveal details about specific SKUs does bother the enthusiasts a lot.
