AMD Rolls Out Counter-Strike 2 Support In Latest Radeon GPU Drivers, Also Adds Stable Diffusion Optimizations 1

AMD is also offering its latest Radeon GPU drivers today with support for Counter-Strike 2 along with optimizations for Stable Diffusion.

AMD Radeon RDNA GPUs Are Now Counter-Strike 2 Ready Thanks To Latest Drivers, Also Offers Stable Diffusion Improvements

The red team's latest driver, Radeon Software: Adrenalin Edition 23.9.3, adds support for three new games including Counter-Strike 2, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, and Payday 3. Counter-Strike 2 is definitely the highlight of today's release as the game has just launched to everyone so you can expect great performance on Radeon GPUs, especially the support RDNA lineup which this driver is built for.

Among the latest highlights are also optimizations for MeanVarianceNormalization (MVN) and Stable Diffusion so Radeon RDNA users can expect some performance improvements while using these AI-specific workloads.   • Audio may intermittently become out of sync with video when recording from AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition with AV1 codec.
  • The display may intermittently freeze after changing the encoding format while streaming select games using AMD Link. Users experiencing this issue are suggested to select the desired encode format before streaming as a temporary workaround.
