With the GeForce RTX 40 GPUs, NVIDIA is further boosting the performance thanks to its Reflex technology which reduces system latency by up to 35%, providing sub-15ms latency on even the most entry-level RTX 40 GPUs such as the 4060. In graphics benchmarks shared by NVIDIA, we can see that Counter-Strike 2 runs really well and delivers over 500 FPS on the flagship RTX 4090 GPU at 1080P resolution which is the most commonly used eSports configuration.
Such high FPS and low latencies will make a lot of sense when paired with the latest 500Hz+ gaming monitors that are coming out on the market. In terms of 1440P performance, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 still delivers over 400 FPS which is a 4.5x increase over the GeForce GTX 1080 and up to a 2.9x increase over the RTX 2080. In 1080P, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4070 seem to be the sweet spot with 300+ FPS. Even the mainstream GeForce RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4060 deliver some respectable gains over their predecessors.
