A new Cyberpunk 2077 patch is going live soon, promising to fix some of the most critical issues still plaguing the game and improve performance on all platforms.
Patch 2.01, which will go live soon according to the CD Projekt Red support website, will fix a persisting distorted effect caused by selecting a specific dialogue option at the of the Automatic Love quest, an issue that causes controller button prompts to show when playing with mouse and keyboard, adjusted radio volume in vehicles and corrupted save issues on PlayStation. The patch will also bring performance improvements for both PC and consoles, especially in the Dogtown area.
Cyberpunk 2077 was updated to version 2.0 a few days before the launch of the Phantom Liberty expansion, bringing an overhaul of multiple gameplay systems, including the Perks system, a new police system, and more. These changes, and the high quality of the expansion's story and characters, make the open-world RPG by CD Projekt Red a much better experience than at launch, as highlighted by Alessio in his review of Phantom Liberty.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty builds upon what was an already great game to deliver more fantastic storytelling (with a spy thriller theme, this time around), exciting combat, and very high-quality side content. The perk tree overhaul is a major improvement to progression, and additions like vehicle combat and the overhauled police system are very welcome, albeit not game-changing.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One worldwide.
