Star Wars Outlaws is apparently going to leave more than a few players impressed with its fast travel and seamlessness, possibly being even more impressive than the soon-to-be-released Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
Speaking on X/Twitter, Tom Henderson commented on the general consensus for Insomniac's latest superhero open-world game, saying that he is wondering how people will respond to what Ubisoft Massive is doing with its upcoming Star Wars game. Elaborating further, Tom Henderson said that we are finally seeing games that are using current-generation technology to its full potential, which sounds extremely promising.
I know this is really left field, but seeing everyone talk about Spider-Man's fast travel tech and seamlessness makes me wonder about how people will respond to what Ubisoft is working on with Star Wars Outlaws.

I think we're finally seeing games that are utilizing current-generation technology to its full potential and that's as much as I can say at the moment until further corroboration for a report.

While there isn't a whole lot we know about Star Wars Outlaws, we do know that the game's planets will be huge, as big as two, three zones in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, so traversal and fast travel tech will be super important to make the experience one to remember, an experience that promises to give players total freedom on how to approach enemy encounters and that will take them to some of the most iconic locations of the Star Wars universe, such as the Mos Eisley Cantina.
Star Wars Outlaws launches sometime in 2024 worldwide on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S worldwide. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
