NVIDIA is reportedly preparing its n GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPU lineup which is rumored to include three cards, the RTX 4080 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER & the RTX 4070 SUPER.
NVIDIA Reportedly Preps GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER & RTX 4070 SUPER GPUs
The rumor comes from leaker, @hongxing2020, who has been very reliable with his leaks in the past regarding the launch dates of several GPUs and even was amongst the first to report that NVIDIA would possibly rename its GeForce RTX 4080 12 GB graphics card which turned out to be correct since the card was "Unlaunched" and renamed to GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. The latest leak talks about three upcoming GeForce RTX 40 GPUs which will be part of the refreshed "SUPER" family.

These refreshed GeForce RTX 40 GPUs are said to include the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and the RTX 4070 SUPER. The "SUPER" naming scheme wasn't adopted by the GeForce RTX 30 GPUs but there is clear evidence that such products did exist before the company changed the branding to a simplified "Ti" scheme. With the GeForce RTX 40 GPUs, NVIDIA might once again introduce the SUPER branding with the aforementioned cards.
There are no specifications mentioned and the launch dates of the said cards are yet to be revealed but these cards will most certainly aim for 2024 and we can expect an announcement by CES 2024 if we are lucky. But that's not the only evidence we have of a possible refresh. More recently, leaker MEGAsizeGPU also revealed that NVIDIA was preparing a more powerful version of the RTX 4080 & the leaker also pointed out that the card would either use the "SUPER" or "Ti" branding. So there are at least two leakers who seem to believe that the SUPER series is coming.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER GPU Specifications (Rumored):
the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Ti graphics card will be based on the AD102 GPU core which means that it will feature a slightly better core configuration than the RTX 4080 Non-Ti/S. The TGP of this new variant is set to be configured at 450W, realistically around the 380-420W range and we might get a memory upgrade too with a 320-bit interface and 20 GB VRAM since the existing RTX 4080 comes packed with a 256-bit interface and 16 GB VRAM.
There's quite a big performance and spec gap between the RTX 4080 and the RTX 4090 so this card will try to fill in that space. Pricing of the card is said to be the same as the existing RTX 4080 with the non-SUPER variant getting a price cut and that may also be true for the other refreshed cards.
Once again, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPUs are just a rumor for now but considering that multiple leakers are now pointing to this refresh, we might see them soon. It should be pointed out that NVIDIA makes several configurations and branding schemes for cards prior to launch but only one specific design is selected close to launch so even if these cards don't launch with the naming schemes mentioned here, they are bound to show up at sometime just like previous unreleased GPUs did.
