Intel has reportedly demanded further subsidies from the Biden administration under the CHIPS Act as the firm ramps up developments in setting facilities in the US. Intel Sticks To The US Plan, Requests For An Economic "Injection" To Keep Existing Developments Running Up Bloomberg reports that Intel is negotiating with the US to acquire a larger share of the subsidies under the CHIPS Act, with the requested additional amount reaching $10 billion in the form of both direct loans and grants.
