With GPU prices going downhill, we might have a new contender in the budget segment as AMD's Radeon RX 7600 drops to its lowest price ever.
AMD's Radeon RX 7600 Available For a Steal Deal, One of The Best Options For Budget Gamers
With the release of AMD's newer "Enthusiast-Class" GPUs, we were expecting to see a price drop on the NVIDIA RTX 4060 series but instead, we got a price drop on the RX 7600, AMD's most entry-level RDNA 3 GPU. The AMD Radeon RX 7600 is now retailing at Microcenter for $229 US, making it one of the most affordable current-gen graphics card options for gamers. It is a discount of almost 15% from its original $269 MSRP, the highest we have seen.
The discounted variant is PowerColor's Fighter, which comes in a dual-fan variant and can be categorized as a mid-tier one. It still performs as great as any other model out there since, on paper, the AMD Radeon RX 7600 isn't a demanding card. It is a no-brainer choice for those confused about going to the AMD route, primarily due to the performance per dollar value you get with the discounted price.
AMD's Radeon RX 7600 provides similar performance to NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4060, with almost a $70 gap since the GeForce RTX 4060 currently retails around the $300 mark. The graphics card will soon be taking advantage of FSR 3 and HYPR-RX, technologies that should work great with RDNA 3 GPUs.
This specific deal is currently exclusive at Microcenter. However, we could see similar deals at other retailers soon. The AMD Radeon RX 7600 also comes with a free copy of Starfield which adds more value to your purchase. AMD has already said that they have completed their RDNA 3 Radeon RX 7000 family so we are likely not going to get any more entry-level GPUs from the red team.
