ASUS has successfully taken care of Intel's NUC business, announcing NUC products based on Intel's 10th to 13th Gen CPUs.
ASUS Takes Responsibility For Intel's NUC Products, Pledges to Elevate The Platform
The move by ASUS is just for customary purposes, to let consumers formally know that the NUC division is now their responsibility. The products showcased by ASUS on their "NUC Overview" webpage feature the same NUC 13 units, also in Intel's NUC arsenal. For users interested in buying the NUC 13 Extreme, for example, they would now have to buy it from ASUS since Intel has officially discontinued the products.
For those unaware, back on July 18th, Intel announced that the company wouldn't invest further in its NUC division, citing a "restructuring policy." However, the NUC lineup wasn't left unattended by Team Blue, since they handed over the division to ASUS, who pledged to take "special care" of it. The current NUC products feature no change, apart from the branding; however, one should expect great things from them in the future.

The choice of ASUS for NUC products holds no uncertainty since the company is known for manufacturing some of the best Mini-PCs in the market from their PN, PB, and PL series. However, ASUS plans to go one step ahead with NUCs, especially since it was disclosed that the company plans to integrate the lineup with its "ROG products," we have already seen a glimpse of it with the release of ROG G22CH.
Moreover, ASUS has also disclosed plans to utilize next-gen Meteor Lake chips for NUC products, elevating the platform to new heights. The expected systems will boast a hybrid cooling mechanism, merging air and liquid cooling to achieve optimal performance with great thermals. The ROG lineup is known to be one of the best in the market, and with the inclusion of NUCs, ASUS plans to dominate the Mini-PC segment, an aim that is indeed imminent.
We are unaware of any release date for next-gen NUCs; however, one should expect a showcase near Intel's Innovation 2023, which will feature the launch of Meteor Lake.
