Intel Arc A580 Graphics Cards Are Finally Coming To DIY, Arc A310 Also Listed Online

Intel Arc A580 GPU Benchmarks Leak Out: 2.4 GHz Clocks, On Par With AMD's Radeon RX 7600 1

Intel's Arc A580 graphics card has been in limbo for a while now but it looks like AIBs have finally been greenlit to launch this card to consumers.

Intel's Arc A580 Graphics Card Finally Gets Ready For A DIY Launch, First Custom Designs Pictured

Back when Intel initially launched its Arc A-series lineup, we were supposed to get five variants which included the Arc A770, Arc A750, Arc A580, Arc A380 & Arc A310. However, two Arc GPUs didn't really get to see a DIY launch.

While the Arc A310 was available in some capacity within the OEM market, the Arc A580 completely disappeared. Over the course of several months, we have seen the card supported and listed in various databases and support pages but there was nothing concrete in terms of information that suggested we would ever see the launch of the card.

However, it looks like Intel is indeed preparing the Arc A580 GPUs with its AIBs who will be offering their custom designs soon. As such, the first ASRock & Sparkle Arc A580 graphics cards have been leaked. The two cards include the ASRock Arc A580 Challenger OC and the Sparkle Arc A580 Orc. It looks like the focus of this card is to be a very competitive mainstream solution as both cards get a dual-slot and dual-fan cooling system with custom PCBs. The ASRock model is slightly bigger and features a large aluminum fin heatsink with copper heat pipes and is powered by dual 8-pin power connectors while the SPARKLE Arc A580 ORC features a blue color palette and is also powered by a dual 8-pin connector configuration.

In terms of specifications, the Intel Arc A580 features 24 cores, 384 EUs, and 3072 ALUs which are clocked at an official graphics clock of 1700 MHz but the benchmark reports speeds of up to 2.4 GHz which is in line with the other two Arc A770 and Arc A750 graphics cards. The graphics card will be offering 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM across a 256-bit bus interface with up to 512 GB/s bandwidth and a TBP of 175W. Performance-wise, OpenCL performance is in the same ballpark as the Radeon RX 7600 and the NVIDIA RTX 3060 but we will have to see what the actual final performance looks like.

Furthermore, pricing-wise, we can expect the Intel Arc A580 for around $179-$199 US considering that the Arc A750 was already reduced to $249 US and can casually be found for around $200 US and even the flagship Arc A770 which had an MSRP set to $299-$329 US can be found for under $300 US. It will be interesting to see the final price and performance figures of this card as the market segment is really devoid of any new offerings in the sub $200 US category. Intel can really take advantage of this situation.

Meanwhile, Sparkle has also introduced its brand new A310 ELF graphics card which retails at $109 US. This entry-level graphics card retails at $109 US and features some low-end specs such as 6 Xe-Cores or 768 ALUs, 4 GB of GDDR6 memory across a 64-bit bus interface & requires no connectors to boot. The problem with the pricing of this card is that the Arc A380 was recently listed for $99 US at the same retailer (Newegg) and also costs just $10 US more without discounts while featuring a higher number of cores and more memory. Plus, you can even find a Low-Profile version for $119 US.
