The company gained popularity with its flagship lineup of "KUBB" products, which featured "miniature" mini-PCs packed with decent performance. The company has taken the concept of compact PCs to a whole new level, making them small enough to fit the palm of your hand.
Upholding the tradition, the company has unveiled "KUBB Mini", which, as the name implies, is another attempt at making the "world's smallest" mini-PC. It features the Intel's Alder Lake-N lineup processor, the highly popular N100. Intel's N100 is the right choice here since its power-to-performance ratio is among the best in the market. The processor is suitable for light and medium workloads, and it is your best bet with such "small" mini-PCs.
The KUBB Mini 8x8 features a "fanless" design with no mechanical parts, which prevents additional thermal generation. For adequate cooling, the mini-PC comes with a blend of aluminum and copper design, ensuring proper thermal dissipation and reducing noise levels, making it a viable option if you desire portability.
Moving on to the onboard specifications, the KUB Mini 8x8 features support for LDPPR5 memory along with extensive storage options to ensure zero compromise due to its compact design. Bleu Jour has listed the KUBB Mini 8x8 as a part of a crowdfunding campaign with an initial price of €235 EUR, and the device is expected to ship by December 2023.
