Assassin’s Creed Mirage – How to Assassinate Order Member “The Treasurer” Al-Pairika

Published:

Assassin's Creed Mirage

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the latest in Ubisoft’s blockbuster series, and a bit of a throwback to an earlier time for the series. Rather than a big overstuffed RPG, Mirage is more of a traditional action-adventure experience, and as such, some folks more used to recent games like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Valhalla may need to adjust slightly.

Note:  The following guide contains SPOILERS for Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage offers up a lot of different challenges, but the core of its campaign are its main five “black box” missions that see you taking out important members of the Order. After you take out The Slaver Al-Ghul, you’re set free to target the other three main Order lieutenants in whatever order you so choose. One of these is Al-Pairika “The Treasurer,” who controls the commercial Karkh region of Baghdad from the shadows.

You’ll have to figure out the identity of The Treasurer by investigating the bustling Bazaar, then cancel her business arrangements, if you catch my drift. The Bazaar can be kind of a mind-boggling place, but you won’t get too lost with our guide…

  • Step 1 – Head into the Bazaar via the main front entrance with the fountain. Head to the right and interact with the merchant Kong (you’ll be familiar with him from several missions leading up to this one). He won’t help you until you retrieve a special plate from somebody named Luca who nicked it from him.
  • Step 2 – Continue to head right relative to the main entrance, then around a corner and out the northern side-entrance to the Bazaar. Luca’s stall will be on your left when you exit (a mission marker will show you which way to go).
  • Step 3 – Hmmm, this stall seems empty! Where’s this plate you’re looking for? There’s a door you can unbar when you first enter the stall. Go through it.
  • Step 4 – There’s a high platform in this room. Pull the shelf over so you can climb up it. On top, you’ll find a number of explosive jars. Grab one, then throw it down toward the crumbling wall below. This will destroy the wall.
  • Step 5 – Hop down, then push the shelf through the newly blasted hole in the wall. There’s another platform you can now climb up using the shelf. At the top, you’ll find the Beautiful Plate. Grab it and take it back to Kong and he’ll inform you the Treasurer is likely somebody from the Far East.
  • Step 6 – Okay, head back to the northern side entrance you went through before to get to Luca’s stall. There should be a merchant up on a platform hocking his wares. Go close to him, and he’ll tell you to head up the nearby staircase to his shop. Do just that, then when the merchant follows you up, interact with the hairpin in the shop. The merchant will reveal that The Treasurer is looking to buy that hairpin.
  • Step 7 – Your next target is right across from the merchant’s shop. Up on a balcony, two women are discussing a certain perfume. Sit on a nearby bench and eavesdrop on them. When they start to move, follow them, then eavesdrop on them again once they stop again. Finally, speak to the main woman, named Qahiba, one-on-one. She lets slip that The Treasurer is female and her name is Ning.
  • Step 8 – Okay, time to head to the auction. It’s near the back of the Bazaar. Go there and take a seat. Once the hairpin comes up for auction, you can choose to bid on it if you want, but you don’t have to.
  • Step 9 – If you didn't purchase the hairpin yourself, follow the guy who did buy it. He’ll go to talk to a guard working for The Treasurer, who won’t let him in. It seems that in order to see the Treasurer you need to bring her a gift and you need to have a broach signifying that you a member of the powerful Ivory Coin trading group.
  • Step 10 – Getting the hairpin back from the guy who bought is easy enough. He’ll retreat to an area overlooking the place the where the auction happened. You can get to his balcony by returning to the merchant’s stall you were in before, then heading through a passageway behind it. The hairpin is just sitting on a table, with the guy who bought it not even looking at it, so just sneak in, grab it, then book it.
  • Step 11 – Okay, now you need that Ivory Coin broach. Head back to the front entrance, but instead of heading right, go left to the south side of the Bazaar. Eventually you’ll come to a female merchant who is having a dispute with a member of the Ivory Coin. Speak to this merchant. You can bribe her with a Favor Token to find out where you can get an Ivory Coin Broach, or you can simply follow our directions.
  • Step 12 – Head west from the female merchant. You’ll soon come to a restricted area of the Bazaar belonging to the Ivory Coin. Thankfully, there’s a convenient hole in the wall right near the guards you can sneak through.
  • Step 13 – Sneak across the courtyard and into the nearby building. You’ll come to a room with a bunch of boxes, which you can climb so you can sneak along the rafters. Or you can simply sneak directly into the next room if you’re feeling more nervy.
  • Step 14 – There are a couple guards in this room, one stationed at a desk. The Ivory Coin broach is on this desk. Grab it, sneak back out, then return to The Treasurer’s guard with the hairpin and broach.
  • Step 15 – The guard will invite you in. Follow behind him. Once you reach The Treasurer’s inner sanctum, wait until you’re summoned to speak to her. After speaking with The Treasurer for a bit, you’ll be given the prompt to finish her off.

And there you have it – another key order of the Order bites the dust. Again, here’s how to take out other Order member Al-Ghul “The Slaver.”

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is available now on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5. You can check out Wccftech’s other AC Mirage guides here.
