Now, a new report suggests that the company intends to create a fully integrated experience by developing its own smart home accessories. Gurman hints about Apple working on making smart home products like security cameras for a more integrated experience […]

The big “E3” announcement season (E3 is dead, but you know what I mean) is almost here, and Microsoft has officially staked out their spot. Taking place in early June, the Xbox Games Showcase will feature games from Microsoft’s full portfolio of developers, including “Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda, Xbox Game Studios” and even some third-party publishers. Interestingly, like last year with Starfield, this will be a “double feature” with a main showcase, and a “Direct” which will dive deeper on a specific game. We’re going to be talking about games of course Tune in to the Xbox Games Showcase followed by […]
During the lengthy Kinda Funny Gamecast interview mainly focused on Fallout, Bethesda's Todd Howard revealed a big Starfield update coming this week to the Steam beta branch. The first story expansion, Shattered Space, will be released this Fall. In the update that we have coming - I think it's going to get announced in a few days, actually this week, and be up on Steam beta - it's got some great stuff for shipbuilding in it as well. This is a separate update. Shattered Space is in the Fall, but we have a big update that's coming really soon to […]

Fallout 4 sales have soared in select European countries following the debut of the Fallout TV show on Amazon Prime. We already noticed increased interest in the Fallout series after Amazon launched its TV show based on the franchise, and as now reported by GamesIndustry.biz, 2015's Fallout 4 was the best-selling game in Europe. This is partly due to the launch of the Fallout TV show, but also due to the discounts on the Fallout games that tie in with the launch of the show on Amazon. According to Gamesindustry.biz, sales for Fallout 4 increased by 7.500% week-on-week, thereby beating […]
Near the end of a long interview focused on the Fallout TV show, IGN got Bethesda's Todd Howard to provide some updates on what the game studio is doing, including Starfield. The game creator teased that fans of the sci-fi RPG can expect 'really good updates' to be announced soon. I'm going to avoid putting dates on anything. I've learned that the hard way. So obviously, our focus as far as new development right now is Elder Scrolls VI, but that doesn't mean that we're not making plans for other things. We're still doing a lot of work, obviously on […]
A new Fallout 4 NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 mod comparison shared online this week highlights how the new Preset E introduced in the upscaler's latest version can lead to better quality than the often superior DLAA in certain scenarios. The comparison put together by MxbenchmarkPC highlights how, while the game generally looks blurry no matter if using TAA at native resolution, DLSS or DLAA, modded DLSS 3.7 returns a higher quality image in several scenarios even compared to DLAA. Later this month, Fallout 4 will receive some love on PC and consoles with the long-anticipated current generation update, which will bring […]

The Fallout Amazon TV series debuted last night, and to follow up on the hype, Bethesda will be releasing a long-awaited next/current-gen update for Fallout 4. On PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, that means players will now have access to a both a Quality mode and a 60fps Performance mode. What resolution we can expect hasn’t been specified – guess we’ll have to wait for Digital Foundry to weigh in on that. Bethesda is also promising “stability improvements, login and quest fixes” on console. Ah, but don’t feel left out PC players! A Fallout 4 update is coming for you […]
Official DOOM Eternal mod support might very well be inbound as users have spotted new additions to entries on SteamDB. Back in 2018, id Software mentioned official mod support for the shooter, but to date, mods aren't officially supported. This, however, might very well change as recent SteamDB changes now directly mention a "DoomModPortal.exe" executable. This could suggest that a mod portal will soon be added to DOOM Eternal. These changes were made some hours ago, and before this change, there wasn't a reference to this mod portal. We've included a screenshot of this new reference below: As said, back […]
The new Starfield patch, currently available in beta on PC, brings some performance improvements, as highlighted by a new comparison video shared online today. The video, which was put together by MxBenchmarkPC, highlights how the new patch improves performance in GPU-limited scenarios, offering improvements of around 10 FPS over the launch version, and 4,5 FPS over the current public version. Some light improvements are found in CPU-limited scenarios as well. While Bethesda continues improving the base game, work is underway on the additional content that will hit Starfield later this year. The first expansion, Shattered Space, still has to be […]
