At the beginning of the year, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth launched a hell of an opening salvo. The latest installment in the long-running Like a Dragon/Yakuza series is comically full of things to do. On one hand, it’s a turn-based RPG epic, splitti...
It's seemingly confirmed that Horizon Zero Dawn is getting a remaster, despite the fact it really doesn't need one. Sony is focusing on making the games look a bit cleaner and visually striking instead of rebooting or porting franchises that people actually care about. Although it hasn't been officially confirmed that a Horizon Zero Dawn remaster is coming, it's quite likely since the rumor has been floating around since 2022. People now believe this is happening because the supposed remastered version has been rated by the ESRB, listening to PC and PlayStation 5 as the platforms. In the latest Game […]
Joker 2, technically titled Joker: Folie à Deux, is just a couple of weeks away, and the final trailer has arrived to try and seal the deal for potential audience goers who are still on the fence about whether a “jukebox” musical is how they want to se...
The A18 Pro powering the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max had already cemented its position as Apple’s fastest smartphone silicon to date by being 18 percent faster than last year’s A17 Pro in Geekbench 6’s Metal benchmark while also trading blows with the M1 in the single-core and multi-core department. In the latest GFXBench Aztec Ruins test, the newest SoC once again reaches a new performance plateau, but a closer look at the comparison reveals that it had to operate at a higher power draw to achieve this difference, resulting in a worse ‘performance per watt’ ratio. In the […]
2024 is set to be a pretty big year for RPGs, with the likes of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Dragon’s Dogma 2, and Avowed all queued up to launch, but what about Dragon Age: Dreadwolf? There have been a number of hints that BioWare’s latest may be nearing completion, but when might we actually get our hands on it? Well, on the latest episode of Jeff Grubb’s Game Mess podcast, he let slip that EA and the devs working away on the game up at BioWare in Canada are “pretty confident” they can still deliver the game later this year […]
In January 2019, I was optimistic when I flew out to BioWare’s headquarters in Austin, Texas. I’d been invited to test out Anthem, the studio’s take on the live-service looter-shooter, before it made its way into players’ hands. I was immediately smitt...

I don’t play Destiny 2, but after hearing Bungie and BioWare are collaborating to bring Mass Effect cosmetics to the game, I’m more tempted to jump in than I’ve been in the decade since its release. Will wearing Liara T’Soni’s cunty lab coat in Bungie’...

December 4 was Dragon Age Day, BioWare’s officially unofficial celebration of the studio’s fantasy RPG series that has been missing in action for almost an entire decade at this point. But at least, on this most recent Dragon Age Day, BioWare announced...
You may not have it marked on your calendar, but December 4 is apparent Dragon Age Day. Unlike the Mass Effect franchise’s N7 Day, most of the festivities today are unofficial and fan-driven, but BioWare themselves have pitched in a little something. BioWare has released a teaser trailer, featuring peeks at some of the locales you’ll see in Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. A disclaimer says the trailer is a mix of cinematics and gameplay, so presumably, at least some of these images are in-engine. You can check out the teaser for yourself, below. Unfortunately, this teaser comes with a bit of […]
