Bungie’s Marathon Appears To Be Targeting $40 Launch Price

Marathon, Bungie's new project, supposedly targets a $40 launch price. Marathon is an upcoming PvP extraction shooter originally revealed in May 2023. Sources have reportedly spoken to The Game Post about the upcoming title and that they're considering a $40 launch price for Marathon. This suggests that Bungie is opting for the game to be a pay-to-play premium model rather than free-to-play with microtransactions, as seen in plenty of current games, including their well-known Destiny 2. Recently, Bungie and Sony have discussed Marathon's pricing strategy and how they will approach it. Conversations and an extended dialogue likely happened once Sony's […]

Cyberpunk 2077 New Mod Adresses AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation Mods Ghosting Issues

A new Cyberpunk 2077 mod released this week addresses some of the ghosting issues seen in the currently available AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation mods. The FrameGen Ghosting Fix For FSR3 FG Mods, which can be downloaded from Nexus Mods, eliminates the ghosting that can be seen behind cars and bikes while driving in third-person mode and reduces ghosting while driving bikes in first-person view. This is achieved by essentially disabling Frame Interpolation in the areas behind the vehicles while keeping it for the rest of the scene. The mod was tested with LukeFZ's mod but should also work with […]

Cyberpunk 2077 Latest Patch Added NVIDIA DLSS Dynamic Resolution Scaling Option For More Consistent Visuals

The latest Cyberpunk 2077 patch that went live earlier this week introduced another NVIDIA DLSS setting to the game that seems to work incredibly well to achieve stable performance with consistent visuals. The new DLSS option added to the open-world RPG by CD Projekt Red is a Dynamic Resolution Scaling option, which changes DLSS resolution on the fly to maintain the target framerate. According to some testing made by Reddit user skyj420, the option doesn't just cycle between the usual DLSS settings but actually reduces resolution only as much as needed to maintain the target framerate. In the demanding Dogtown […]

Cyberpunk 2077 Sees 23% Performance Improvement With New NVIDIA Beta Driver 550.9

Massive Cyberpunk 2077 performance improvements are coming to PC in the near future, judging from the game's performance with a recent NVIDIA beta driver. As tested by Compusemble, the NVIDIA beta driver 550.9 brings performance improvements in CDPR's open-world RPG with and without Frame Generation enabled. Playing the game with the latest Windows Insider Build 26040 and the NVIDIA beta driver 550.9 brings the biggest performance improvement, a 23% increase over the current stable Windows build and NVIDIA driver, which is extremely impressive for some software changes. Unfortunately, the NVIDIA beta drivers don't come with patch notes, so we do […]

The video shared by Neegzm shows how AMD FSR 3 can deliver four times the average FPS in the game's benchmark at 1440p resolution on an RTX 3080 GPU over […]

Cyberpunk 2077 Excellent E3VR Lighting Mod New Version Restores Pre-Release Lighting System

A Cyberpunk 2077 lighting mod called E3VR was recently updated to a new version that essentially restores the lighting system used in the game's pre-release versions. The E3VR mod, which can be downloaded from Nexus Mods, combines the lighting systems from the E3 2018 and 2019 showings and the 2020 trailer using the in-game files so as to make the tweaks work in the final game lighting system and not lose the current graphical fidelity. The results are incredible and give the game a very different feel, as highlighted in the comparison video put together by Krush SG. While modders […]

Den of Wolves Announced – An Intimate Look at 10 Chambers’ Latest Cyberpunk Heist

As Ulf Andersson famously said, 10 Chambers is “back on that heist shit again”. Their latest project, Den of Wolves, was announced during The Game Awards following the sendoff of GTFO and its final major content patch, Rundown 8.0 Duality. Despite a hundred-year difference between Payday’s infamous heists and Den of Wolves, there’s still a common foundation that 10 Chambers are looking to recreate with their latest cooperative shooter. Den of Wolves opens by presenting itself as a title that doesn’t come close to being as niche as GTFO. Simon Viklund (which we talked to in a separate Q&A) stepped […]

Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.1 Path Tracing, Ray Tracing Comparisons Highlight Improvements Across the Board

Cyberpunk 2077 latest patch, patch 2.1, brings path tracing and regular ray tracing improvements across the board, as highlighted by a few comparison videos shared on YouTube. In the video shared by StunningVanilla, the path tracing improvements are pretty evident in some scenarios, with reflections seeing the best enhancements. While ghosting issues are considerably reduced, path tracing is still not perfect in CD Projekt Red's game, which isn't surprising, considering it is the first open-world title to implement it. The introduction of NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction support for regular ray tracing mode in Cyberpunk 2077 also brought some improvements, […]
