During yesterday's OTK Games Expo, South Korean developer IRONMACE announced the availability of a free-to-play option for Dark and Darker. Free-to-play accounts have certain limitations, as you would expected. Players taking advantage of the free access will only get to create one character and only be able to enter Normal modes, although there are no limitations regarding maps. The goal is obviously to get more players into Dark and Darker while also providing the option to upgrade later to 'Legendary' status. All players who purchased the Standard and Founders Edition will be automatically upgraded to Legendary Status, by the way, […]

The official website's counter says 35.7 million users have already registered, unlocking 30K Denny coins, 8 Master Tapes, 5 Boopons, […]
The free-to-play first-person shooter game XDefiant is reportedly doing big numbers already. According to Tom Henderson, the game has become the fastest ever made by Ubisoft to surpass one million unique players. In fact, it has already managed to break through the three million unique player milestone. It goes without saying that XDefiant is currently outperforming even Ubisoft's rosiest expectations. However, the big question with a live service game like this is whether it can retain players' interest over time. While Call of Duty Modern Warfare III has certainly underwhelmed, the same might not be true for 2024's title, which […]

The Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has assured that it is committed to complying with all regulations that prohibit it from selling chips to and having business dealings with Chinese technology giant Huawei. Huawei is forbidden by US law to acquire high end chips that are manufactured using US origin technologies, and TSMC's comments came in response to a report that claimed that the firm was being investigated by the US for having ties to Huawei. The purported investigation is being headed by the Commerce Department, and it covers TSMC's artificial intelligence and smartphone chips. TSMC Assures It Will Take […]
