As previously rumored, Microsoft today announced that they’ll be holding their first Xbox Developer Direct on January 18. For those unfamiliar with the format, Developer Directs tend to focus more deeply on a smaller number of titles, rather than spamming a million announcements, and Microsoft has confirmed the upcoming show will include Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, Avowed, and… the new Indiana Jones title from MachineGames. The first two games were expected, as they’ve already been confirmed for a 2024 release, but Indiana Jones was a bit of a surprise. The Indy game was announced back in early 2021, but we’ve […]

The upcoming Star Wars Outlaws open-world adventure from Massive Entertainment is easily one of the most exciting projects on Ubisoft’s upcoming slate, but the French publisher has been somewhat sketchy about when the game may launch. The broad release window we’ve been given in 2024, but recent Ubisoft financial statements hinted an early 2024 release may have been pushed back. Well, now we have a better idea of when Star Wars Outlaws will arrive, courtesy of the Star Wars overlords at Disney rather than Ubisoft themselves. According to a new Disney blog, Star Wars Outlaws is coming our way in […]
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is here, and the Massive-Entertainment-developed game is surprisingly complex, offering a huge open world, survival mechanics, crafting system, combat, and more. It can all be a lot to take in at first, but we’re here to help. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is packed with collectibles, but one of the most important to track down are the Tarsyu Flowers – each one of these will unlock a powerful “Ancestor Skill,” as well as additional points to advance the game’s skill trees. Tracking down these flowers is one of the best ways to make sure you’re prepared for […]

It can all be a lot to take in at first, but we’re here to help. Combat in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora can be a bit frustrating (here are some tips on how to make the best of it though). This is particularly true early on, when you’re stuck twanging away at big RDA mechs with low-powered Na’vi weaponry. Thankfully, there is a way to get access to fairly punchy shotgun early in the game […]

It can all be a lot to take in at first, but we’re here to help. One of the keys to building up your character in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is finding the best-quality crafting materials. It can all be a lot to take in at first, but we’re here to help. Like most action-adventures/RPGs, there are merchants in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora that you can acquire useful things from (gear, weapons, food, ect.) but the Na’vi don’t use traditional currency. Instead, you’ll acquire things with “Clan Favor,” but how exactly does this work, and how do you get it? The game doesn’t necessarily explain it that clearly, so scroll on […]
Earlier this month, the once-highly-anticipated The Day Before launched and quickly crashed and burned in dramatic fashion. As many had begun to suspect, the project was essentially a fake – rather than the open-world zombie MMO promised, developer Fntastic delivered a limited extraction shooter filled with cheap purchased assets and not a lot of fun. Fntastic promptly announced they were shutting their doors, and Steam delisted the game and begun offering refunds to those that asked. Despite all this, we didn’t have a definitive answer as to what The Day Before’s future was. Servers remained on and Fntastic stated the […]
