Guerrilla Games has confirmed that they are recasting the character Sylens, starting with LEGO Horizon Adventures. Sylens was played by actor Lance Reddick, who unfortunately met an untimely death at 60 years old in March 2023. Reddick, who was also known to gamers for Destiny's Commander Zavala and for Quantum Break's Martin Hatch, was last featured in Horizon Forbidden West. Those who completed the storyline already know his character Sylens was positioned to be instrumental in future installments, making this recast less than surprising. Speaking to IGN, Guerrilla's World Art Supervisor Lucas Bolt said: Lance Reddick tragically passed away in […]

The release date of LEGO Horizon Adventures was leaked by Sony itself via the PlayStation Blog. Reddit user foreveryoung1108 was the first to share a screenshot of the announcement. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch on November 14. LEGO Horizon Adventures was originally announced at Summer Game Fest 2024 after several rumors. It is being co-developed by Horizon franchise creator Guerrilla Games and British developer Studio Gobo, which has previously helped make games like F1 2012, Disney Infinity: Toy Box 2.0, Disney Infinity: 3.0, For Honor, Forza Street, Hyper Scape, Hogwarts Legacy, and Synced. LEGO Horizon Adventures is perhaps the only game based on a big PlayStation IP due to launch this year. Of course, it is also a spin-off title that mainly targets kids of around eight years old. Speaking to GamesIndustry, James Windeler, narrative director at Guerrilla Games (which is working alongside Studio Gobo on this project), said that fans of the franchise will still recognize the main characters in LEGO Horizon Adventures, even though certain themes take on a more lighthearted note due to the different target audience. We have tried to keep as much of the story as possible. A […]
Two months ago, we learned that Guerrilla Games had been working on LEGO Horizon Adventures, a spin-off title based on the post-apocalyptic franchise. The official announcement came at Summer Game Fest 2024, when we discovered that the Dutch team had partnered with Studio Gobo to develop a fully multiplatform game scheduled to launch this Holiday on PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Well, not quite 'fully', as Microsoft's Xbox console is missing. Speaking with Stephen Totilo's Game File on the topic, Guerrilla Games Narrative Director James Windeler said: Right now, we're just very much focused on pushing this hardware to […]
Last week during the Summer Game Awards, Sony announced Lego Horizon Adventures, which, surprisingly, is coming to PC, PS5, and… Nintendo Switch. Of course, Sony has become more open to bringing their games to PC in recent years, but launching on another competing console is still very rare for PlayStation outside of the MLB The Show series where the decision was forced by MLB. In the days since the announcement of Lego Horizon Adventures, more information has emerged about the game, including Guerrilla’s logic behind putting the game on the Switch. According to Guerrilla narrative director James Windeler, they wanted […]
Note: This is a developing story. More info about Lego Horizon Adventures will be added soon. There have been a lot of Lego crossover games released over the years, but typically they focus on IP that originated outside of gaming (Star Wars, Batman, The Avengers, ect.) Well, over the past few weeks we’ve been hearing rumors that we’d be getting a Lego game based on a certain PlayStation IP, and today during the Summer Game Fest kickoff show, Lego Horizon Adventures was officially announced. As we see in the first the game’s first trailer, Lego Horizon Adventures looks a bit […]
The rumored LEGO Horizon Adventures is said to launch day one on PS5 and PC, it's been claimed. This 'information' comes from credible French deals leaker 'Billbil-kun', who has posted details about the rumored next PlayStation title on French deals website Dealabs.com. Now for those who don't know 'billbil-kin' - he has correctly been leaking upcoming PS Plus and Game Pass games for several years now. In addition, he has proven to be spot-on with several game announcements as well, including last year's Mortal Kombat 1. More recently, the leaker talked about the upcoming reveal of Firewalk's Concord. According to […]
Yesterday saw Sony roll out a new State of Play, and while opinions on such showcases always vary, it contained a fair number of announcements, including the ambitious new platformer Astro Bot, first gameplay and a release-date for the multiplayer FPS Concord, as well as additional dates for the Silent Hill 2 remake, God of War Ragnarok PC port, and more. So, is that it for Team Blue? Astro Bot, Concord, Silent Hill 2, and GoW Ragnarok on PC would make a solid lineup for the rest of the year, so maybe PlayStation returns to its cave to hibernate for […]
