PlayStation Reportedly Prepping Summer Game Fest Reveals Hot on the Heels of State of Play

Yesterday saw Sony roll out a new State of Play, and while opinions on such showcases always vary, it contained a fair number of announcements, including the ambitious new platformer Astro Bot, first gameplay and a release-date for the multiplayer FPS Concord, as well as additional dates for the Silent Hill 2 remake, God of War Ragnarok PC port, and more. So, is that it for Team Blue? Astro Bot, Concord, Silent Hill 2, and GoW Ragnarok on PC would make a solid lineup for the rest of the year, so maybe PlayStation returns to its cave to hibernate for […]

Helldivers 2 Is Outselling Spider-Man 2 in the United Kingdom

Arrowhead's Helldivers 2 continues to sell at an incredible rate. The latest report from GSD (reported by GamesIndustry) reveals that the game was once again the top-selling title when considering both digital and physical channels across the United Kingdom. Even more impressive is the fact that Helldivers 2 is currently outpacing sales of Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Granted, it has certain advantages, such as the lower pricing and the availability on PC. At the same time, Spider-Man 2 is based on one of the most iconic entertainment franchises. Moreover, Helldivers 2 was made with a fraction of the $300 million […]

Spider-Man: The Great Web Co-op Game Leak Looks Like Solo Titles, Introduces Spider-Gwen

Does a co-op multiplayer Spider-Man game from Insomniac sound like something you’d want to play? Well, sorry, while it was in the works, it’s no longer in production. For a while we heard rumblings a multiplayer Spidey project was happening, but then as part of Sony’s recent step back from their (over) ambitious live service plans, the project was reportedly canceled. And that would usually be that, but the massive Insomniac Games leak from late last year is still yielding new information, including a trailer for that canceled multiplayer project, entitled Spider-Man: The Great Web. While we won’t embed the […]

The development of the Marvel's Spider-Man 2 unofficial PC port is proceeding quickly, and major strides have been made in the past few days. As reported on X/Twitter by PC Focus, the unofficial PC port is looking more and more like the actual game, as textures are being applied quickly.
