Apple is increasingly focusing on building its own devices and expanding its ecosystem by taking steps towards a more native experience for users and relying less on third-party accessories. While the Cupertino-based tech giant's HomePod and AppleTV have left quite the mark in the smart home category, it generally relies more on outsourcing cameras and other hardware for smart homes. Now, a new report suggests that the company intends to create a fully integrated experience by developing its own smart home accessories. Gurman hints about Apple working on making smart home products like security cameras for a more integrated experience […]

Black Myth: Wukong made more than a few heads turn with its reveal trailer released back in 2020, but it was with the switch to Unreal Engine 5 that the action role-playing game developed by Game Science entered most players' radars. With beautiful environments and highly detailed characters enhanced by the engine, Black Myth: Wukong promised to be one of the first truly next-gen action role-playing games. Being from an unproven studio, many wondered if Game Science had what it takes to create a compelling action role-playing game experience. After spending around 25 hours with the game, I can say […]
I didn't know what to expect when I first booted up the game. I went in without knowing it and didn't even look it up on the Steam page. I installed Dustborn, developed by Red Thread Games and got stuck in. However, after some time playing the game, it felt familiar. For a while, I couldn't place my finger on what felt so familiar about Dustborn until I realized that it reminded me of the Telltale games, specifically Tales from the Borderlands. The characters had the same kooky vibes as those of Tales from the Borderlands. One of the main […]
AMD's high-performance CPU journey continues on the desktop platform with the arrival of the Zen 5 core architecture. The new architecture has several fundamental changes that allow huge performance uplifts in single-core and multi-core applications. These can be attributed to the 16 percent IPC improvement that the new architecture has on offer. Replacing the AMD Ryzen 7000 "Zen 4" CPUs, the Ryzen 9000 "Zen 5" CPUs do not change the core configurations but enhance them in certain ways. The architectural upgrades allow Zen 5 chips to run cooler, consume lower power, and support the latest features on existing and upcoming […]

TeamGroup is the creator of some of the most high-quality memory products for the PC industry. They have come a long way since its inception in 1997 and went on to become one of the fastest-growing product manufacturers and a leading brand around the globe. Since the arrival of DDR4 memory in the mainstream market, TeamGroup started a separate line of DIMM kits under their new T-Force brand. The T-Force brand is the more enthusiast and gamer-aimed memory series with a sheer focus on quality and performance. More recently, the company started rolling out its extreme-overclocking ready memory kits which […]
In early 2023, we got our first taste of the latest PCIe Gen5 NVMe SSDs, offering up to 10,000 MB/s read and write capabilities. These drives were fast but we knew that faster drives would be entering the market sooner or later as the technology matured. Furthermore, Gen5 platforms are more accessible to a wider range of audiences with the introduction of mainstream AMD & Intel motherboards. While offering 10 GB/s speeds as a start, SSD manufacturers have quickly started rolling out faster drives by optimizing thermal designs and utilizing enhanced NAND solutions. ADATA launched its first Gen5 drives in […]
The Sims 4 Lovestruck is the latest expansion to be released for the simulation game. So far, a lot of the expansions haven't quite grabbed my attention in the way this one has. The only one that has come remotely close is Cottage Living. However, I was pleasantly surprised with what Lovestruck had to offer. An expansion that is tailor made to those who enjoy giving their Sims a dramatic love life, this was everything I was hoping for and more. It had some of the classic cheesy traits and features that were seen in previous games, with nods to […]

Despite Deck13's Atlas Fallen showing much promise before release, the German studio's game failed to deliver a truly compelling experience. On paper, the mix of the combat mechanics of the Monster Hunter series and character action games like Devil May Cry and Bayonetta sounded exciting, but a clunky execution of these concepts made the experience very middling despite a well-designed world with deep lore. Not wanting to leave their game in a state that the studio itself did not find optimal, Deck13 has launched the Reign of Sand free update, which attempts to fix many of the base game's issues […]
