Considering how the leaks regarding the Galaxy S23 FE and other fan edition devices are pouring in, it is safe to say that the day we get the new devices isn't that far, and I am all for it. Sure, it might seem like that Samsung is just rushing to the market with new devices, but let's be honest, buying flagship phones is no longer viable for a lot of people, and an affordable alternative is always welcomed.
The Galaxy S23 FE can be a promising smartphone, but it needs to release imminently to make a mark
The latest tip that we have suggests that Samsung is looking to upgrade the camera on the Galaxy S23 FE. This isn't the first time we have heard about this, however. The last time, we heard that the rear cameras would be getting an upgrade, and our latest tip tells us how the front camera will be upgraded.
Based on the information from GalaxyClub, the Galaxy S23 FE is set to get a 10-megapixel front camera instead of the 32-megapixel camera found on the older units. Now, this might come as a disappointing revelation to many people, but the good news is that you are getting a much better and higher-end sensor this time. The megapixel count does matter, but it also depends on other factors such as sensor size, along with pixel size, and aperture.
Other information involves an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom capabilities, and we do know about the 50-megapixel primary camera, as we heard back in May. In addition, we know that the Galaxy S23 FE could ship with a combination of Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This will vary by region, of course, and until the devices are official, we won't be able to tell until we get more information on this matter.
As far as the release date is concerned, nothing concrete can be said, but the source does claim that currently, Samsung has not planned the launch until late in the year, and of course, there is a chance that the phone could get pushed to early 2024, but we are not sure. I am really hoping that August is the month when this phone, along with the Fan Edition tablets, is made official, but whatever the case might be, we will keep you posted about everything we learn.
