The Honor Magic V2 was released a little over a month ago, quickly becoming one of the more talked about foldable smartphones. To make sure that it truly delivers the experience, Honor put some thought into the Magci V2, and it was not only the thinnest foldable phone, but it was an engineering marvel. For starters, the phone used a titanium hinge, becoming the only foldable phone in the market to use titanium for the hinge, at least to my knowledge.

It has been a little over a month, and the phone is back in the limelight, this time, in a complete video where the device is being assembled, giving us a look at how everything falls together, and honestly, it also shows just how advanced the Honor Magic V2 really is, when stacked up against the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
The assembly was done by none other than Zack from JerrRigEverything, and instead of taking a phone apart, he decided to put the phone together, and well, it was the Honor Magic V2. You can have a look at the video below, and then we'll talk about the rest:
The Honor Magic V2 brings a hinge made out of titanium, making it thinner, lighter, and more durable in the process. Not just that, the phone also uses two silicon-carbon batteries, allowing Honor to reduce the thickness of the device even further. Honor claims that the phone is rated for up to 400,000 folding cycles, which means that you can fold your phone 100 times for ten years, and you would still be working just fine. Not that you will be using the same phone for that long.
The entire 8 minutes and 12 seconds of the video are quite interesting because we get to see just how the phone starts off as just a bunch of parts and slowly starts taking form into a fully functional foldable device. Once assembled, the Honor Magic V2 is compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 5, the latest and greatest foldable in the market, and there are some really interesting tidbits.
For starters, the Honor Magic V2 is just 9.94mm thick, whereas the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is 14.91mm thick. The Magic V2 is even lighter, clocking at either 231 grams or 237 grams, depending on the model you pick up, compared to the 253 grams of the Galaxy Z Fold 5. I am honestly really surprised with what Honor has managed to achieve, and it goes to show that other companies, especially the big names like Samsung, can't just sit and give us slightly refreshed versions of their older smartphones.
