Now, analyst Jeff Pu from Haitong International Securities suggests that the WiFi 7 will be part of next year's iPhone 16 Pro lineup (via MacRumors). This is a year-over-year upgrade in terms of connectivity for the iPhone.
WiFi 7 will support data transmission over 2.4GGz, 5GHz. and 6GHz bands side by side. This will not only deliver faster upload and download speeds but also offer lower latency for a secure and stable connection. With the upcoming standard, playing online games on the iPhone 16 Pro models would be a breeze. In terms of data transfer speeds, WiFi 7 will offer up to 40 Gbps. Other than WiFi 7, Jeff Pu also states that the iPhone 16 Pro models will come with a 48MP ultra wide-angle camera for enhanced image quality.
With an upgraded 48MP ultra wide-angle camera, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max (or iPhone 16 Ultra) will be able to take in more light, allowing the device to capture more details of the subject.
