Samsung recently unveiled its Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable headsets at its Unpacked event. While the Galaxy Fold 5 did not launch with major changes in terms of design, the Flip 5 now features a bigger folder display on the outside, showing more information at a glance. The company will announce the Galaxy Z Fold 6 next year with some pretty major changes, including the design and form factor of the handset. Now, a prototype of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has surfaced online, showing what you should expect from the Galaxy S24 Ultra early next year.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 prototype design leaks to show the design variations Samsung might make with the Galaxy S24 Ultra early next year
Samsung typically announces its Galaxy S-series of devices in the first quarter and we are expecting some major changes this time around. It was previously reported that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature slimmer bezels on all sides and a new frame. These details are evident in the Galaxy Z Fold 6 prototype design, as shared by leaker Ice Universe on X.
It can be seen in the video that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will feature a pretty neat design which is quite different than the current model. Upon closer inspection, we can see that the external display has changed its aspect ratio, moving away from the tall or narrow screen which is harder to use. The company could have taken cues from the Google Pixel Fold's form factor and how well it was received in the tech community. The screen shows minimal bezels which would move to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Tell you a good news,My S24 Ultra rendering has been confirmed by the supply chain. If you are still not impressed with S24 Ultra, you can watch this video, which is one of the prototype designs of Fold6. The leaker has previously shared details on the bezels and how they would compare against Apple's iPhone 15 Pro models. Furthermore, he also shared the frame of the device which is rumored to switch to a titanium finish. Overall, the design is pretty straightforward and very similar to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. As for the Galaxy Fold 6, the hinge seems to be improved as the screen folds shut entirely. When the device is closed, the metal frame melts into each other, which could give users the feeling of using a standard Galaxy phone.
Samsung will potentially announce the Galaxy S24 Ultra early next year with upgraded internals, a new design, and better camera hardware. The leaked photos and videos of the Galaxy Fold 6 simply show the direction Samsung is headed in terms of the Galaxy S24 Ultra's design. We will share more details on the device as soon as further information is available.
