We have previously heard that Apple is looking to replace the Leather material for its cases with the iPhone 15 lineup. While we are not exactly sure what would replace Leather as a premium material for cases, a leaker has shared images of FineWocen cases for the iPhone 15.
Leaker shares images of FineWoven case for iPhone 15 lineup but reserves final verdict
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 15 lineup at its Wonderlust event on September 12 alongside the new Apple Watch Series 9 and upgraded Apple Watch Ultra. The company will also announce new accessories and update existing ones with new color options. Since leather will not be the premium material for cases this year, the company is potentially choosing a blend of materials that will be more eco-friendly with less carbon footprint. A leaker by the name of DuanRui has shared images of potentially legit cases for the iPhone 15 lineup that reads FineWoven.
According to the leaked images, it can be seen that the FineWoven cases for the iPhone 15 are made of fabric and additional materials. While the exact material is hard to pinpoint, the cases will potentially be more environment-friendly. Take note that DuanRui notes that the images could be counterfeit products in packaging similar to Apple's. Nonetheless, the launch is nearing fast and we will have our first look soon.

This is not the first time that we have heard details on Apple's forthcoming cases that will replace the leather cases. However, we can be sure that the rumored cases will feature MagSage compatibility with the iPhone. If the cases shown in the leaked images are the real deal, we should expect it in multiple color options. The company could choose to offer a different naming scheme for the cases as well at launch.
As mentioned earlier, Apple will launch the iPhone 15 lineup with a plethora of changes internally as well as externally. The standard models are expected to rock Dynamic Island on the front while the 'Pro' models are reported to feature a titanium finish. Furthermore, Apple will also introduce new color options for the entire lineup with Green and Yellow being the highly anticipated options. As for the 'Pro' models, we are expecting a new bluish-gray color that resembles the Pacific Blue.
