As it turns out, the company has finally announced that it is going to start delivering OxygenOS 14-based Android 14 on September 25th.

OxygenOS 14 is going to be the second major update by OnePlus since it merged iwith Oppo. Now OxygenOS and ColorOS share the same DNA, and the latest update will be based on Android 14, so you hve something to look forward to. Another importnat thing to note here is that Google has not pushed the new OS to the stable channel, so it means that in the next comign weeks, we can expect the update to hit the stable channels, as well for all the supported Pixel devices.
As for Android 14-based OxygenOS 14, OnePlus has talked about how the company is fopcusing on the performance and all that is possible thanks to the new "Trinity Engine." The company c,aims that it will improve how hardware and software work together. There is going to be CPU Vitalization, RAM Vitalization, ROM Vitalization, HyberBoost, and HyperRendering. Although these are just marketing terms for now, I am expecting that more details will be revealed in the coming days.
