The Galaxy S23 FE is all but official, considering how we keep hearing about the upcoming budget flagship. The phone has been leaked numerous times, and now we finally have a look at the device in some real-life photos. Now, it certainly carries the Samsung DNA, but if you have been searching for a design that looks different than the rest, that is not going to be the case.
The Galaxy S23 FE shares DNA with its younger siblings, but that's not a bad thing
At first glance, I would not blame anyone if they confused the Galaxy S23 FE with the Galaxy A54, and honestly, that is not a bad thing at all. Samsung has managed to figure out the design language that it has been using with its phones, so it certainly is a good decision. The phone looks like its other siblings from the Galaxy A and Galaxy S series. You can have a look at the images below.
As you can see in the images above, the Galaxy S23 FE looks a lot like the Galaxy A54, and that really isn't a bad thing. You are looking at individual camera cutouts in the back with possibly a glass back and rounded edges. The front of the phone has its camera right in the middle.
As far as the specs are concerned, the Galaxy S23 FE is said to come with a 6.3-inch FHD+ display, with 4,500 mAh battery, a combination of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1/Exynos 2200, 8 gigs of RAM, and a choice between 128 gigs or 256 gigs of storage. For the camera, you are looking at a 50+8+12-megapixel combination with a 10-megapixel camera on the front and an under-display fingerprint sensor.
Honestly, I am really glad that the Galaxy S23 FE exists. However, the one concern that I have has to do with the price because this phone has to be priced really well if Samsung is willing to make a dent here. If the new phone is not priced the right way, things could go wrong for Samsung as the phone might not end up making the sales the company wants from Samsung. So, it definitely is something that one needs to keep in mind.
