Apple, as a company, likes to do things perfectly. This is not coming from me. This is coming from a lot of people who are diehard consumers and the company itself. After all, that is the reason why the company is usually late to introduce features because when it does, it makes sure that a standard is set. Keeping all this in mind, one would assume that the quality control is also very strict, and while it has always been spotless, the newly released iPhone 15 introduction video shows some glaring editing mistakes that should not have been missed, given the company's production quality and control.
The iPhone 15 official introduction does have some editing mistakes but only if you can spot them
The iPhone 15 introduction video looks impressive, much like everything Apple produces. However, this time, if you look at the video, you will notice some jarring editing mistakes that could have been fixed rather easily. I won't even say that you have to be eagle-eyed to spot these mistakes because they are that obvious.
As you can see in the image above, the camera sensor looks way more misaligned than it should be on the iPhone 15. Now, from a videography standpoint, this could easily be because of the wrong focal length being used, but looking at the bezels, you see some very obvious inconsistencies. The bezel on the right looks completely different than the bezel on the left, and the forehead (top bezel) also shows some inconsistencies. Things, however, get even funnier when you look at the full shot.
If you look at the image above, you will see that the bezel consistencies become even more apparent. Not just that, the iPhone 15 in the picture looks a lot broader on the top and narrower towards the bottom. Again, this warping normally happens if you are shooting at a focal length that is not appropriate, but it's hilarious that such a mistake was ignored. Even the front-facing camera looks slightly misaligned when you look closely.
Now, it is worth noting that this is by no means us poking fun at Apple or the iPhone 15. As mentioned before, the company has a stellar record when it comes to production quality and quality control, as well. Sometimes, however, these things often end up missing. We have seen many duds like this in the past, including some horrendous typos in official material, and this is a mistake that you won't even notice. I mean, the whole introduction video is just 47 seconds long, and the aforementioned screen grabs are only on the screen for a couple of seconds, maybe even less. You can check out the video below to see if you can find any more mistakes.
