The iPhone 15 pre-orders are expected to kick off from 5 AM PDT in the U.S., and that only means that a few hours remain before millions of customers can secure their first pre-purchases. Just like we have seen on previous occasions, the Apple Store is down once again as the company prepares for what can be an influx of traffic.
More than 40 countries will be able to pre-order an iPhone 15 after the Apple Store comes back online
If you visit the Apple Store website in the U.S. at this time, a message will read ‘We can’t wait either,’ indicating that preparations are underway for iPhone 15 pre-orders. In addition to customers living in the United States, Apple is expected to open up pre-orders for millions residing in 40 countries, including India. To recap, the newest lineup comprises of four models: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The base model starts from $799, with the iPhone 15 Pro starting from $999 for the 128GB model. Contrary to what the rumors clamored, Apple only introduced a price hike to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which now costs $1,199, but you are also getting 256GB of internal storage as a starting point. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is also the first ever handset from Apple to feature a periscope zoom lens, so for some, the price increase is justified.
On the Apple Store, the regular iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be available in the colors pink, yellow, green, blue, and black, while the ‘Pro’ versions will be sold in black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium options. It is also the first time that Apple is transitioning from stainless steel to titanium alloy, so it will be interesting to see how this material holds up with long-term use.
For those who do not wish to partake in iPhone 15 pre-orders on the Apple Store, all four models will officially be released on Friday, September 22, and will be available at your nearest retail outlet to check out.
