After rolling out the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update to the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung is finally releasing the update to the Galaxy S22 series. This includes all three devices, and as expected, the update has gone live first in South Korea, and in the coming days, we can expect the update to hit other regions, as well.
The Galaxy S22 users in South Korea can now enroll in the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 beta program, more regions to follow
The build numbers are S908NKSU3ZWIA / S908NOKR3ZWIA / S908NKSU3DWI8 for the new Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update. The same can be expected for the other Galaxy S22 variants in the region, followed by the regions elsewhere. It is safe to say that if you have been waiting for the update to hit, this is your time. Again, it is worth noting that it is not available outside Korea, but you can expect it to hit other regions pretty soon.
Honestly, this definitely is a good thing for Samsung. The Galaxy S22 series still remains one of the best in the market, and considering how we now have a new update for the new devices, this means that Samsung could very well complete the rollout by the end of this year, and I am really hoping that happens to be the case. If Samsung's previous record is to be accounted for, it is safe to say that things are in good hands, and we will start seeing Android 14 on all our devices; I cannot wait to experience what Samsung has to offer.
If you are in South Korea and you want to get on the latest Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update for your Galaxy S22, then you have to go to the Samsung Members app and get started from there. In case you are not getting the option to register for the beta program, then you will have to wait. For users in other regions, I would highly suggest that you wait because soon, Samsung should start rolling out the beta program in those regions, too.
