We have seen a lot of foldable phones this year, but if you think the trend is going to stop, then that is not the case. OnePlus Open is still not out in the open, and we are waiting for it to be released. As far as we can tell, the delay happened because the company went to Samsung for displays instead of the supplier it previously picked up. In addition to that, the phone has also changed in terms of the design, and the design was drastic. Such changes normally do lead to delays, but the latest word is that the phone could be coming out as easily as next month.
OnePlus Open to launch on October 19, later this year
Max Jambor, a reliable tipster, has suggested that the OnePlus Open is going to go official next month on the 19th. Jambor claims that the company has mentioned that the phone is going to launch "soon." Whether this is true or not is still something we are going to have to wait and see, but it still is good news that the phone exists, and we could see it any day.

Now, Max has been spot on with past leaks regarding OnePlus, so we have a strong reason to believe that the OnePlus Open is indeed going to launch on October 19. If it does, it will be competing against the likes of Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Pixel Fold, two of the hottest foldable phones this year. I am really looking forward to seeing what OnePlus has done to improve the foldable formula because, so far, we have seen devices that are more or less based on the same DNA.
Considering how October 19 is not that far, you can expect more details about the OnePlus Open to reveal itself in the coming days. We have already seen the renders a bunch of times, I just want to see how the foldable performs and manages to hold itself against the completion in terms of performance, camera, battery, and, most importantly, durability.
