The Google Pixel Fold is a stunning and expensive foldable device, and there is no doubt about that. Today, the company has finally added the inner replacement screen of the foldable to the list of parts you can buy, and honestly, you would be surprised at the price.
All the spare parts for Pixel Fold are now available through official channels, but some of them are really expensive
The Google Pixel Fold inner screen repair is not for the faint of heart. Even if you do have experience with repairing phones, I would highly advise you to take this to an expert. The screen, on its own, is going to run you $899. However, if you want the tools with it, too, then the Fix Kit will run for $909. This means that for a phone that costs $1,799. The screen alone covers half the price of the phone, and this, of course, does not include the labor.
Now, the spare part for the Pixel Fold does not just come as a screen itself, but you get teh chassis as well, which has the frame attached to it. You also get a fingerprint scanner and volume rocker, so in a way, you are getting the entire shell. You also get both batteries, which can be purchased separately, but for $900, Google will sell you those, as well. The company has listed all the parts on the iFixit website in case you want to buy them separately.
If you are interested in checking out other parts, the good news is that iFixit and Google are selling all the important parts for Pixel Fold, making it a lot easier for anyone to repair the device. Again, if it comes to replacing the inner screen, I would highly advise that you take it to a professional or only attempt the repair on your own if you are familiar with repairing foldable phones.
At the time of writing, disassembly and repair guides are available for the following Pixel Fold parts.

Honestly, knowing the complexity of foldable phones, I am glad that Google is offering so much for the PIxel Fold. If anything, this encourages the users to repair their own devices or at least have an easier time sourcing the parts, even if they are getting these devices repaired by trained technicians.
