Now that the iPhones are finally available in stores, those who did not pre-order their devices can finally go to their nearest Apple Store and pick up the phone. The process of picking up a new phone is fairly simple--you go to the store, choose the phone you want, you pay, and leave. However, it appears that the iPhone 15's availability in stores has sent some people into a complete frenzy, as they have started behaving a lot like zombies rather than actual, sensible human beings.
It's good that you are getting the new iPhone 15, but please do it in a humane way
A video shows a massive physical altercation happening right outside the Apple Store in Dubai Mall, and well, it is safe to say that things do not look pretty, even when you are looking at it through the video.

The source reports that security guards started putting up barriers as the crowd gathered a day before the retail launch of the iPhone 15. The guards even told the shoppers to stop moving forward at the pace. With the launch getting closer, more and more people started surging towards the store. There are several videos available online showing physical altercations and people pushing each other away just so they can get access to the Apple Store.
There are also reports that claim that customers were shoving each other, and there were even incidents where people were falling into the ground, as you can see in the video above. This was not just the case in one area as large crowds gathered at Apple Stores across the world in major cities, and while we do understand the popularity of the new iPhone 15 series, what I don't understand is the reason why anyone would go berserk over something as simple as a phone.
While I understand the new iPhone 15 is a hot commodity, what I don't understand is the impatience and complete ethical violation. Hottest commodities than the new iPhone have gone on sale in the past, and we rarely see such things happening. I am not saying the phones aren't great because it is the opposite, but Apple is not going to run out of stock, and people are not going to magically get their hands on their new phones just by punching and shoving each other around.
