Considering how the Pixel 8 series is less than two weeks away from going official, it is safe to say that we are going to be hearing more and more about Google's latest flagships. Earlier today, we confirmed the entire spec sheet of both devices alongside the fact that Google is going for seven years of Android and security updates, and shortly after that, we received word on how much the new phones are going to cost in the U.K. and the U.S.
With smartphones becoming more expensive, Google is pricing the new Pixel 8 phones competitively
The good news is that the Pixel 8 prices are not going to be as high as some of the other flagships in the market, so if you are frustrated by all the $1,000+ smartphones but still want a good experience, these phones are going to be for you. The U.K. prices came from Roland Quandt, a reliable tipster, and here is how much the new phones are going to cost.
UK base prices for the new Google products:
Google Pixel 8: 699 GBP
Google Pixel 8 Pro: 999 GBP.
Google Pixel Watch 2: 349 GBP.— Roland Quandt (@rquandt) September 24, 2023
Now, these do fall in line with what we have heard about the Pixel 8 series in the past, and it does seem that there is a price increase happening this year. If you are looking for the U.S. prices, these are coming as a courtesy of Yogesh Brar, and you can have a look at them below.

Honestly, there is little to no surprise that Google has decided to go with such pricing for the new Pixel 8 series. If anything, it really is a good pricing for those who are not looking for the new Galaxy S24 series that is releasing early next year, and considering how the new iPhones are still expensive for most people, Google's pricing makes more sense.
The Pixel 8 series is scheduled to go official on October 4th, later this year. Since these phones are not really that far from going official, you can expect a lot more details to come forward. Of course, as always, we will be providing all the coverage on the latest leaks and rumors, leading up to the final launch.
