It is that time of the month when we finally get some more information on the Galaxy S23 FE. The phone has been a bit of a mystery for some time. Despite leaking numerous times, there were still things that were under the wraps. For instance, up until today, we had no idea what the phone was going to cost and when it was launched, but that changed today.
The Galaxy S23 FE could launch on the same day as the Google Pixel 8 series
We have obtained information regarding the price and the release date of the Galaxy S23 FE. The good news is that the phone is not going to cost you a lot, given it's an upper-end Samsung product. The price of the phone is going to start at $599, which I believe is the price for the base model, which honestly is not that bad considering how it falls in line with what I wanted it to be in the first place.
As far as the release date is concerned, the Galaxy S23 FE is said to debut on October 4th, which means that the phone is going to launch alongside the Google Pixel devices. Now, I am not sure if Samsung is going to hold another Galaxy Unpacked because so far, we have not seen any banners going live, so it is most likely going to be a press release launch, but hey, after waiting for such long time, we don't really mind how Samsung decides to launch the new phone.
In terms of the new phone, Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S23 FE with a combination of Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1; you are also going to get 8 gigs of RAM with storage choices between 128 and 256 gigs. In addition to that, the phone will have a 6.4-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a triple-camera setup on the back with the main camera being 50-megapixel, a 4,500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, an IP68 rating, and more.
It appears that the phone looks like an excellent package for anyone who is looking for flagship-grade specs but without spending a lot of money. Hopefully, we will get more details in the coming days, and we will be sure to keep you posted.
