A YouTuber stated that a third-party Instagram app is the reason why the iPhone 15 Pro is overheating. Lastly, the new titanium finish was also blamed for causing overheating issues on the iPhone 15 Pro. While the exact cause of the issue was unknown, Apple spoke up about the issue and stated that it was likely a bug in the software that was causing the units to overheat. The company did not mention when it will release the upcoming iOS 17.0.3 update with a fix.
According to MacRumors, Apple has already started working on iOS 17.0.3 with a fix for the iPhone 15 Pro overheating issue. At this stage, we are not familiar with the release time frame of iOS 17.0.3. Currently, the company is working on its iOS 17.1 update for the iPhone which will feature a plethora of new additions that the company announced at the WWDC 2023 event.
