The Pro variant packs an impressive 50MP f/1.68 Octa PD main wide camera, complemented by a 48MP Quad PD ultrawide camera with f/1.95 aperture. There is also an option for a 125.5-degree field of view and a 48-megapixel Quad PD telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.
If you are looking for a more affordable offering, then the regular Pixel 8 is going to bring you a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 10.5-megapixel selfie camera found on the front on both phones. Surprisingly, the Pro variant also has Pro mode, whereas, for some reason, the regular variant does not.

As far as the pricing and availability are concerned, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are now up for preorder. You can reserve your unit, and you will receive it once the phones are officially available in the market. Google has increased the price for both variants by $100, which means that the base variant is going to start at $699, whereas the Pro variant is going to start at $999. Google is offering free Pixel Buds Pro to those who preorder the standard version and Pixel Watch 2 to those who order the Pro variant. The standard version is available in Hazel, Rose, and Obsidian. If you want the Pro variant, then you are looking at Bay, Porcelain, and Obsidian.
