In case you're unfamiliar with Warcraft Rumble, it's an action strategy game where players build their Armies out of miniature versions of the franchise's heroes and villains.
Playable Leaders include Archmage Jaina Proudmoore and Chieftain Grommash Hellscream. There will be over 60 collectible characters. The Armies, which can be built in five different families (Alliance, Horde, Beast, Undead, Blackrock) are also composed of Troops and Spells.
Warcraft Rumble will have a lot of content at launch, including a sizable single player campaign featuring over 70 missions, each with a distinct 'strategic puzzle' that players will have to solve.
The game can also be played cooperatively in dungeons or raids and competitively in the Player versus Player (PvP) mode. Players can band together in Guilds and try to earn seasonal rewards with War Chests.
Interestingly, Blizzard also publicly shared several 3D printer blueprints for Warcraft Rumble Minis under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License. For now, only Alliance models are available, including:
- Arcane Blast
- Blizzard
- Defias Bandits
- Footmen
- Gryphon Rider
- Harvest Golem
- Holy Nova
- Huntress
- Jaina Proudmoore
- Maiev Shadowsong
- Mountaineer
- S.A.F.E. Pilot
- Tirion Fordring
- Worgen
Needless to say, the 3D printed results may vary greatly based on the materials and equipment used.
