The OnePlus Open or the OPPO Find N3 will be going official on October 19th. This is not something that should be a surprise to a lot of people because this is exactly the release date that we had heard of in the past, so it certainly is nice to see that the phones are going to be official sooner rather than later, and well, the marketing material for these devices has also leaked recently, so there is not much that you can hide about these phones.
Regarding the OnePlus Open, the company's COO and president, Kinder Liu, has claimed in a press release that the latest foldable will bring “elegant, lightweight, and slim design, alongside an imperceptible screen crease, unprecedented imaging performance, efficient software, and premium quality.” As someone who has been using a OnePlus 10 Pro for some time, I really hope that is the case, especially in the imaging department.
The specs of the OnePlus Open are already pretty solid. The phone will be launching with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, base 256 gigs of storage, 4,800 mAh battery with 67W wired charging, and an impressive camera system on the back, which you can tell by just looking at the size of the camera island. The phone is also said to have a hinge that is lighter and with fewer moving parts, which should make it more durable.
