Samsung can easily be considered one of the best companies when you are talking about displays. The company is constantly delivering excellent displays not just on its own devices but on almost all the high-end devices that we see in the market. Now, a new report has emerged that the South Korean tech giant has started working on Micro LED for smaller displays, and we might see the technology debut on the Galaxy Watch Ultra, which will be Samsung's answer to the Apple Watch Ultra.

Now, it is just a rumor that we are going to see a Galaxy Watch Ultra. However, it is true that Samsung has started working on Micro LEDs on smaller displays. This could even mean that we could see smartphones with this technology, and it will be really interesting to see how all of that plays out. Again, we don't know if we will be seeing the Galaxy Watch Ultra, but if you look at it, there is strong evidence that it might happen. Samsung currently has the Galaxy Watch lineup, including the Classic variant that manages to challenge Apple Watch releases. However, being Apple's biggest competitor, there is nothing that can challenge the Apple Watch Ultra and everything it provides. So, it would make more sense for Samsung to take the fight to Apple, and I hope that would happen because I would really like to see what Samsung is capable of with an Ultra variant of its smartwatch.
Again, this is purely speculation, and it could take some time before it materializes and turns into something new. Since the news is recent, I am sure that we are not going to see the Galaxy Watch Ultra in January 2024 alongside the Galaxy S24 series. This means that the release could possibly take place sometime next year.
