Apple has invested quite a bit in generative AI while Samsung seeks help from Microsoft and Google

It was recently reported that Apple is heavily investing in its own generative AI technology, which could see daylight by the end of next year. The technology is expected to come with iOS 18 as Apple works on a wide range of features that use generative AI. Apple CEO Tim Cook stated at its earnings call for the Q4 2023 fiscal year that the company is "investing quite a bit" in generative AI to compete against the industry giants.
