Apple has acquired Pixelmator

In a major turn of events, Pixelmator, the firm behind various image editing applications such as Pixelmator for iOS, Pixelmator Pro, and others, has announced in its new blog post that it has been acquired by Apple. The monetary value of the acquisition was not disclosed, but the company says that the deal is subject to regulatory approval with the following statement. “Pixelmator has signed an agreement to be acquired by Apple, subject to regulatory approval.
